FAQ
How are you different from investment banks or underwriters?
I act as an independent advisor. I do not take board seats, equity, or control rights. I help you think through options and prepare, while banks and underwriters run the actual deal and bookbuilding.
When does it make sense to consider an IPO or direct listing?
Usually when your business model is proven, revenue is stable or growing, and you can explain your story in a clear way. It also helps if you already have some institutional or serious private investors.
What is the difference between IPO and direct listing in simple terms?
In an IPO, new shares are sold to raise fresh capital, usually with underwriters. In a direct listing, existing shares start trading without a traditional underwritten sale. It is more about liquidity than raising new money.
Can you help me decide between IPO, direct listing, or staying private?
Yes. I review your business, capital needs, investor base, and goals. Then we compare options: IPO, direct listing, or more private capital. The goal is to match the path to your strategy and risk tolerance.
Which exchanges do you focus on for micro cap listings?
I work with companies looking at Nasdaq Capital Market, Nasdaq Global Market, NYSE, or NYSE American. I help assess where your size, sector, and story fit best, and what each market typically expects.
What do you do in the preparation phase before listing?
I help with equity story, basic financial narrative, and investor materials. I also flag governance, reporting, and regulatory topics to discuss with your lawyers and auditors, so you are not surprised later.
How do you work with my existing lawyers, auditors, and banks?
I do not replace them. I coordinate with them. I help you ask the right questions, align timelines, and keep the IPO or direct listing plan realistic. They handle legal, audit, and underwriting work.
Can you support a CEO based in MENA or with operations in Dubai/Abu Dhabi?
Yes. I work with founders and CEOs in MENA and globally. I help translate a regional or industrial story into a format that US public market investors can understand, including AI, robotics, and manufacturing angles.
